Fine Art Tapestries is the largest weaver of wall tapestries worldwide. We are trendsetters, leading the revival of the wall tapestry art style, and have experienced unparalleled success, seeing our designs displayed in fine homes, galleries, offices, restaurants, and hotels all across the United States, and around the world. Tapestries are one of the best kept secrets in modern art form with many world renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso weaving their art into tapestry. We have over 1,500 pieces of art in our library, and the capability to customize new designs, or to re size existing designs to accommodate the needs of our clientele. Please see our custom wall tapestry section for further information on creating a one of a kind woven wall tapestry.
Our designs reflect our diversity. We have skillfully rendered Asian art such as The Great Wave into woven tapestries. We have also taken traditional works by art masters such as Monet, Renoir, and Raphael, and given them fresh, new life in fine woven tapestry form. The images are now alive with masterful weave structures where oils, watercolors and pencil sketches once were. The texture of the weave brings a dimension to the work not attainable with other mediums. We also offer a broad selection of traditional tapestries from the great European Tapestry art houses, as well as works from William Morris and several of the modern masters.
Fiber arts are part of our family heritage. Our ancestors were among the first weavers in the American colonies. Made in America stands for quality and value wall décor. Each and every tapestry we weave is hand finished, and inspected by at least three professionals. All of our tapestries are woven on German Jacquard looms, keeping the European wall tapestry style in place coupled with true American craftsmanship. We have located our ever expanding textile mill operations in the Foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, just south of Asheville. The fiber art weavers of western North Carolina stand tall amongst the best in the world. Try one of our fine tapestries, and you will experience a thoroughly modern take on a fiber art form rich with history.
