Native Bulgarian artist, Silvia Vassileva, took her first art lesson when she was twelve, and she knew immediately that art was her destiny. She suddenly began seeing shapes, shades and color as she never had before, and has never looked back. Vassileva attained her bachelors and masters degree at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, following her studies there with six years of painting and exhibiting her work in Japan. Moving to California in 1996, the artist has come to have her original artwork represented in multiple galleries, and her prints are published and distributed worldwide. Vassileva’s original, Fall Riverside I, brings us a serene fall scene, resplendent with rich earthy hues, and vivid splashes of color that well capture the warm yellows, reds, and orange leaves of the season, set against a calm, cool river. Our artisans have taken that original and masterfully created a unique woven wall tapestry work of art for your living space.
